Damage and malformation are not to be expected because there is no direct influence on the egg or sperm cells, or on their uniting process, therefore there is no gene manipulation. This is evident in worldwide experience. It is not out of the question though, that unknown hereditary diseases from the parents may be carried on to the child. That is a risk that all women carry with every pregnancy.
